We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to oversee and manage design projects in a dynamic commercial environment. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers, ensuring design excellence and innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of HVAC systems for commercial projects.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
- Develop detailed design calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in mechanical design principles and practices.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling HVAC systems.
- Review and approve project proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Strong understanding of commercial building systems and piping design.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
