Description:Akima Intra-Data is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our project in St. Louis. Great opportunity to contribute from the ground floor of construction of a new facility!
Responsibilities:- The lead ME is a full-time, on-site position and will serve as the subject-matter-expert on all mechanical systems.
- Advise contractor's HVAC technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
- Review preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
- Perform overall capacity management (maintain building calculations to manage supply available with loads required); and ensure building modifications comply with code requirements and original design intent.
- The Lead Mechanical Engineer is required to be a licensed and registered professional engineer.
Must have experience advising HVAC technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
- The Lead Mechanical Engineer is required certified in LEED for Building Operations and Maintenance.
Minimum of five years of related experience.
Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI access.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with AUTOCAD, BIM and Revit applications and standards is a plus.
An active DoD TS/SCI w/ CI poly is preferred.
Knowledge of various preventive maintenance models desirable.
