Lead Maintenance Mechanic – Lebanon, PA

The Opportunity

Our client is a mid-sized metals-based manufacturing client who has engaged us to identify a Lead Maintenance Mechanic for their Lebanon, PA location.

This position reports to the Maintenance Leader and is responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties on various manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and maintain production efficiency.

Other responsibilities include:

• Performing regular maintenance and repair work on conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and other equipment
• Diagnosing equipment issues, identifying faulty components, and repairing or replacing them as needed
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to identify technical issues and offer solutions
• Recommending upgrades and modifications for increased efficiency and longevity of equipment and machinery
• Performing routine maintenance procedures such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
• Working with production teams to minimize machine downtime and improve overall efficiency

Qualifications include:

• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role, preferably in the aluminum casting industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, industrial machinery, and specialized tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

Requirements:

• Availability to work 6:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to manage a team of 7 employees
• Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to coordinate with production teams
