Lead Install Technician - American Technology Consulting

Position: Lead Install TechLocation: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)Phone & In Person InterviewCandidate must currently be located in Indiana to be considered for thisposition.OVERVIEWThis position is required for assisting the Project Managers and DeploymentLeads in implementation of statewide PC Refresh Projects on a 4 year rotatingschedule to replace all state-issued PC computers allowing the Indiana Office ofTechnology to efficiently support IT resources across the state.The duties of this position are to support the PC Refresh Project Managers andDeployment Leads by installing new PCs for Agencies' PC Refresh Projects.Following the established processes and checklists to ensure the end user hasall the necessary software and settings on the new PC. Backing up, protecting,and restoring data will be an essential task for this position. Updatingdocumentation and completing e-install forms required. Will be the lead tech andpoint of contact onsite for large deployments. Customer service is also acrucial element for this position. This position will perform other duties asassigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTIONAssociates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience isrequired. Advanced experience, and advanced knowledge of the following:PC-Desktops and Laptops, iPhone, peripherals, and client/server technology.Hands on experience with Windows7, Windows 10 Active Directory, and VPN.Industry recognized certifications such as A+, Network +, or MCSE are a benefit.Understanding of Internet technologies beneficial. Hands on experiencesupporting the MicroSoft Office Suite. Ability to support printers, scanners,and other peripherals. Solid verbal and written communication and documentationskills are required.
