Lead Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Tova Industries

Food manufacturer located in east Louisville is seeking an experienced manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic with strong mechanical & electrical skills.

Primary responsibility:
Repair, maintain and perform routine maintenance on production, packaging equipment and facility maintenance. Perform all repairs and maintenance throughout the facility. Work with preventive/predictive maintenance system to keep operating equipment in good condition.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years successful recent plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must pass electrician competency test.
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical, computer, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Must have strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills.
• Experience with computerized or automated controls and have ability to read electric schematics.
• HVAC experience a plus.
• Machine shop experience.
• Fabrication skills and welding.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated successful, stable work history.

• This is primarily a first shift position; however candidate must be able to work any shift, possible weekends, and on-call schedule.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, climb, and kneel throughout shift.
• Able to work in hot/wet/cool conditions.
