What You will be Doing
You are responsible for conducting audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify operational risks, and recommend improvements. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of audit methodologies and best practices.
You will report to the Director, Head of Internal Audit.
During a Typical Day, You will
• Conduct in-depth reviews of operational processes to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
• Analyze complex data and information to identify trends and anomalies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in mitigating risks.
• Prepare detailed audit working papers to document audit evidence and conclusions.
• Identify and assess operational risks, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Draft clear and concise audit reports that effectively communicate audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
What You Bring to the Role
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in operational auditing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of audit methodologies and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong project management skills combined with effective written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
