Lead HVAC Service Technician/Installer (North Jersey Market) - Asteroid Operating Company, Inc.

Asteroid Operating Company is a New Jersey-based, Full-Service Commercial, and Residential Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Services Contractor.

Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Lead HVAC Service Technician/Installer (North Jersey Market) who wants to be part of a winning team to provide outstanding service to our customers. On an as-needed basis, travel will be required to customer sites located in North Jersey (Hudson, Bergen, Essex, Union, Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon), Central Jersey (Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex), and South Jersey (Ocean, Burlington). Note that this position is mainly to service our customers in our North Jersey market. We have an employee-friendly travel policy.

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, and After-Hours and Weekends, as needed (on-call rotation is once every 3 to 4 weeks)

Pay Scale: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, an average of 40-50 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• 3 years of Commercial HVAC/Install experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Well-organized and ability to work independently
• Ability to provide emergency on-call service after hours and over the weekend on a rotating basis
