Role Overview:
As a Lead Helicopter Pilot, you'll play a critical role in life-saving missions, transporting essential care to those in need. This is a dynamic and impactful position for pilots who thrive under pressure and are driven by a passion for making a real difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Perform line pilot duties according to General Operating Manual (GOM) standards.
- Engage in community outreach and uphold company policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide safe, efficient service.
- Support safety initiatives like the Safety Management System and Destination Zero.
- Assist with patient and equipment loading/unloading, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
- First Class Medical certificate.
- 2,000 total hours, including:
- 1,500 hours in helicopters
- 1,000 hours as PIC in helicopters
- 500 hours in turbine helicopters
- Minimum of:
- 100 hours unaided night operations, or
- 50 hours unaided and 100 hours with NVG.
- Body weight of 235 pounds or less.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
- Successful interview, physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
