About the Job
Responsible for the development and supervision of the Financial Analysis staff and for the reporting and analysis of Sales and Gross Profit for both Production and Merchandise Products.
Responsibilities:YOUR MISSION:
Responsible for the development and supervision of the Financial Analysis staff and for the reporting and analysis of Sales and Gross Profit for both Production and Merchandise Products.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Responsible for the compilation, reporting, and analysis of the Actual results, Forecast and Business Plan regarding sales, purchase cost, material cost, and other related cost
- Responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and preparation of the Forecast and Business Plan regarding sales, purchase cost, material cost, and other related cost
- Responsible for Finished Good model cost management
- Makes recommendations to management for ways to improve Gross Profit for a month, quarter, fiscal year 1st or 2nd half, fiscal year to date, and/or total fiscal year
- Identifies areas of risk for achieving Gross Profit for a month, quarter, fiscal year 1st or 2nd half, fiscal year to date, and/or total fiscal year
- Directs and participates in establishing and accounting for standard costs at the finished good model level, including budgeting, forecasting and actuals reporting. Also provide relevant analysis of standard rates to actual rates and other manufacturing variance analysis, as needed.
- Assists management in preparing mid-term pro-forma statements and reports
- Assists management in making day-to-day operating decisions and offers advice on various aspects of Company management
- Assists other departments in the evaluation of their performance as it pertains to sales and material/purchase costs.
- Works with Direct Manager in the annual establishment of both Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for area of responsibility and accountabilities/objectives for staff and self
- Throughout the year, performs periodic reviews of both area of responsibility KPI’s & accountabilities and objectives for staff and self.
MUST-HAVES:
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting or BS/BA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- Seven (7) years related Financial Analysis experience required.\
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.\
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
