- Confirm all resources and required employees are present at job sites
- Collect final balances from customers
- Seek to improve processes within your management
- Work full-time hours, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, including travel time to job sites
Smucker Fencing seeks a Lead Fence Installer with solid leadership skills to join our fun-loving team. Our company provides Lancaster and Chester County customers with residential, agricultural, and commercial fencing. We actively support local non-profits and international ministries. Our Ideal Lead Fence Installer:
- Experienced: 3+ years as a farming, construction, or fencing foreman. Must have in-depth knowledge of construction site prep procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines and understand the equipment needed to complete a project.
- License: Must have a valid driver's license to drive a 5500 truck and 20-foot trailer with a clean driving record. Able to pass a DOT physical.
- Strong Leader: We value clear communication on our team. Must also have motivational and unifying abilities to build solid relationships within our company.
- Detail-Oriented: Task-oriented, organized person with high standards for handling all the details. Able to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work, keeping safety and efficiency the most important priorities.
- Adaptable: Able to navigate schedule changes and problem-solve scheduling or unexpected challenges every construction project encounters.
- Ethical: You work with integrity and uphold our company values. You do things correctly even when no one is watching.
- Team Player: Humble and hardworking. You lead by example and care about your crew and the customers.
- Active: Able to lift 80 pounds, bend, and kneel.
