Lead Engineer - Open Systems Technologies

A financial firm is looking for a Lead Engineer with Marketing Tech experience to join their team in New York, NY. 

Compensation: $150-200k

Qualifications:
Required:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Extensive experience in financial services technology, specifically in deal pipeline management and CRM platforms
• 2-3+ years of recent experience working with Portfolio Managers / Front Office personnel to support a CRM or pipeline tool such as DealCloud
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, .NET)
• Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data management
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong Java or .NET skills
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to translate business logic and compliance rules into vital queries for calculations, including Functions, Stored Procedures, Query Writing, and Optimization
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Excellent project management skills, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
• Vendor experience with CRM or pipeline tools

Preferred:

• Experience with DealCloud or similar deal management platforms
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
• Experience in AI and machine learning technologies
• Data skills to manipulate data using Azure Data Services, SQL, APIs
