We are a well-established and successful electrical contractor that provides commercial electrical services to well known customers throughout Pennsylvania.
The lead electrician will be responsible for monitoring electrical installations and a crew consisting of journeyman and apprentices, specifically managing the productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, movement of manpower, procurement of materials, and any other activities impacting the successful completion of the electrical project.
Requirements:- Must have (5) plus years' experience in electrical construction, design, and cost management as an electrical foreman.
- Must be able to work as well as manage on your own.
- Must have knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- Experience managing small to large electrical projects.
- Commercial electrical experience required
- Must be able to work on voltages up to 480V
- Medium voltage experience greater than 1000V is a plus
- Bending RMC, IMC, and EMT conduit is a plus
- Telecommunication and fire alarm experience is a plus
- Experience running construction equipment is a plus
- Troubleshooting electrical systems is a plus
- Experience with maintain schedules and budgets.
- Establish high performance, quality standards along with project goals and monitor success in reaching those goals on an ongoing basis for journeyman crew.
- Ensure that the plans and specifications are complete and that journeyman crew members are working with the current documents.
- Ensure the proper safety equipment and tools are on the site to perform the required work.
- Ensure the proper materials are on site to perform the required work.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications.
- Work with Superintendent(s) to give sufficient notice of any crew changes.
- Ability to present self in a professional manner and represent the company image under stress
- Must have a positive attitude
- Have a valid driver's license
- Must adhere to safety policy and procedures
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Must have own hand tools
- Demonstrated leadership and project success are expected
