Lead Editorial Writer 

Location: Hybrid in Beaverton (Onsite Monday – Thursday, Remote Friday)
Duration: about 3 months
Pay: up to $45.99/hour, DOE
 
Planet Interactive is looking for a Lead Editorial Writer to join our well known retail brand on a 3 month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR.

The Lead Writer is responsible for uncovering the deeper stories that shows the passion and hard work behind the Brand. The role requires reporting inside the Company - interviewing employees, executives, and partners to find the behind-the-scenes details that make the Brand's stories sharp, memorable, and unique. The Lead Writer is responsible for writing and packing content in a way that is fresh engaging and platform-right. This person primarily creates content for the Brand's About webpage, and specifically the Stories section the sites editorial arm. The role also requires creating employer-brand content for the Company's LinkedIn profile and helping fuel bigger editorial ideas for the team as a whole.

Qualifications:

• Editorial background - publishing, magazines
• Writing features, profiles, editorial, and interviewing experience
• Inquisitive and curious mind, can writing compelling content
• Journalism background experience in reporting and editorial writing
• Experience in photo video and audio editing is also a plus.
