• Works cooperatively with the management team to schedule and complete medical appointments for individuals served promptly.
• Completes all necessary medical follow-ups and required post-medical appointments promptly.
• Works with medical providers and pharmacies to ensure all medications are ordered and filled as prescribed.
• Completes weekly medication reviews accurately.
• Review residents' medical files weekly.
• Assists with emergencies, communicates and documents such incidents by Agency policies and procedures.
• Uses technology for the completion of specified job duties.
• Attends work regularly according to assigned work schedule and by Agency policy.

SECONDARY FUNCTION(S):

• Works cooperatively and effectively with stakeholders while meeting the needs of individuals served and the programs.
• Provides personal care to persons served during specified periods.
• Available to assist Residential Managers with needed support.
• Provides transportation to the individuals served when needed.
• Works alongside the Residential Manager to ensure the Emergency Food and Supplies Kit, OSHA kit, and First Aid kit are sufficiently stocked.
• Attends and participates in in-service training, staff meetings, and other activities to facilitate professional development.
• Works cooperatively with others including all staff, supervisors, administrators, co-workers, individuals served, community professionals, customers, vendors, and the public.
• Assumes other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as needed.

EDUCATION: Associate of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Human Services. Bachelor's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: Two years experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. NOTE: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted iinstead ofthe requirements specified above under Education and Experience.What's in it for you?
