We are looking for an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic for our 1st shift to join our growing Maintenance Department. 1st shift is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a weekly on-call rotation. $1/hr Lead Tech Shift Differential after 90 days! $3000 sign-on bonus for a new experienced Diesel Mechanic!
A day in the life of a Decker Diesel Mechanic looks like:
- Providing maintenance and repair on a private fleet of well-equipped, late model trucks and trailers with top of the line technology
- Processing work orders
- Accurately filling out necessary documents
- Leading the 1st shift of Diesel Mechanics
- Opportunity for growth into shop leadership for the right person
- Other duties as assigned
Diesel Mechanic Must Haves
- Must have own tools; tool lease program available if needed
- Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces
- Paccar experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Post job offer physical and drug screen required
Diesel Mechanic Nice to Haves
- CDL preferred but not required
- Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus
- Reefer experience is a plus
