• Leads and oversees the daily duties of assigned staff within a designated department.
• the role supports the front desk teams with patient schedules, escalation and general team support.
  This location has 16 providers, which on a regular day is an average of 20 patients per provider.
• Provides guidance and training to assigned staff responsible for admitting, registering, scheduling and verifying patient insurance policies.
• Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance, and performs and/or oversees cashiering operations.
• Participates and monitors the revenue cycle to ensure completion of charge tickets. Reports discrepancies to appropriate authorities.
• Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two (2) years of directly related experience
• Medical Terminology
• Medical Office Experience

• Associate's Degree in related field of study
• Ability to type and enter data efficiently and accurately
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of office procedures
• Knowledge of insurance plans
• Skilled in a variety of software applications
