LEAD CUSTODIAN

A family-owned company, Dynomax designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are seeking aLeadCustodianwho will delegate responsibilities to the custodial teamfor three manufacturing facilities in Wheeling.

Lead Custodian Job Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial duties while delegating tasks to team members
• Maintain inventory for cleaning supplies, paper goods, and other consumables while working closely with the Purchasing Dept to purchase supplies
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers
• Clean and supply restrooms and break rooms
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and polishing and shampooing carpeting as needed.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces in common areas- lunch rooms, conference rooms, workout room, training room.
• Properly clean all windows and mirrors.

Lead Custodian Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of custodial/maintenance experience
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• Ability to be on-call during off hours
• Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate concerns and hazards in a timely fashion to a diverse audience.
• Ability to work independently with little to no direction.
• Ability to properly mix and prepare cleaning chemicals.
