The Position:
We're looking for a passionate Lead Cook to help us provide expertise in services related to food preparation, production, and distribution with a focus on delivering quality food and nutrition services.
- Produces quality foods to support the health and well-being of our guests / residents
- Serves food in accordance with established portion control procedures; prepares food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders.
- Ensures that kitchen facilities and equipment are maintained in good, sanitary condition to maintain food production efficiency, food safety, and conformance with OHSA safety and DOH rules and sanitation standards.
Requirements:
- Three (3) years cooking experience in food service industry or related experience.
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current Hawaii driver's license preferred.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
