Job Description- Establishes quality standards for planning, preparing, and food yield.
- Ensures food preparation is in accordance with planned menus and in sufficient quantities.
- Efficient and timely arrangement, servicing, and clean-up of meals.
- Ensures food is properly stored and the proper temperature is maintained in hot and cold food items.
- Ensures adaptive equipment necessary for food consumption is available.
- Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
- Inspects equipment for cleanliness and functional operation.
- Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
- Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
- Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
- Attends all required staff training opportunities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of related experience required.
- Six months of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with youth.
- A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
