Lead Construction Project Manager - Honeywell

Summary



Leads complex construction projects. Ensures that integrated project management processes are aligned with industry best practices and are consistently applied across the business.





Duties and Responsibilities




+ Steer large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all aspects are managed efficiently.


+ Lead and mentor project teams, overseeing their work, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.


+ Provide strategic insight to projects, identifying opportunities, potential challenges, and innovative solutions to optimize outcomes.


+ Oversee budget allocations, resource utilization, and expenses, ensuring projects adhere to financial constraints.


+ Maintain transparent and effective communication with stakeholders, presenting project status, updates, and potential roadblocks.


+ Utilize your experience to identify, assess, and manage project risks, adapting strategies to ensure successful project execution.


+ Develop and manage complex project schedules, coordinating activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.


+ Deliver clear and concise project reports, highlighting progress, milestones, and areas requiring attention.






You Must Have




+ A bachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field.


+ At least 7 years of hands-on experience in construction management, project management, or a closely related role, demonstrating substantial leadership responsibilities.


+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.


+ Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.


+ United States Citizenship


+ Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.


+ Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)






We Value




+ A master's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field.


+ PMP certification or its equivalent.


+ Expertise in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).


+ Experience collaborating with Federal Government clients.


+ A background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.


+ A track record of successfully managing projects up to or exceeding $100M.


+ A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.


+ Exceptional organizational skills with an innate ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.


+ Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.


+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


+ Proficiency in relevant software tools, encompassing project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
