The annual base salary for this position ranges from $97,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $217,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Global Compensation team function as the go-to-market arm of Compensation. This role will advise a subset of our business functions.
You will work alongside the Global Compensation team and report directly to the Director of Compensation Consulting.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Lead Compensation Consultant who will work alongside the Global Compensation team, business facing HR Business Partners and business Executives to provide comprehensive advising support for Nike’s compensation programs. We function as the go-to-market arm of Compensation. This role will advise a subset of our business functions.
Our new teammate will be accountable for projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements. We are searching for someone who has both compensation expertise, but also practical experience communicating with partners outside of the compensation function to explain difficult issues, work to build consensus, and influence programs and processes. Performing work in support of company plans, we need a professional who is capable of making decisions within guidelines and policies, as well as someone who demonstrates an understanding of how the business experiences compensation programs and good judgment when reviewing exceptions.
+ A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
+ 5+ years demonstrable experience in compensation including program design, market surveys, compensation operations, and business advising
+ Able to act as leader for colleagues with less experience; may coordinate the work of other staff members when needed.
+ Impacts a range of standard and non-standard customer, operational, process, project or service activities.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
We are looking for a Lead Compensation Consultant who will work alongside the Global Compensation team, business facing HR Business Partners and business Executives to provide comprehensive advising support for Nike’s compensation programs.
+ Advise on Compensation Strategy for the assigned business functions in alignment with the Global Compensation Strategy as well as serve as a trusted specialist for other compensation initiatives, programs, and processes.
+ Support fellow Compensation teams focused on program design, HR partners (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, People Solutions, etc.), and other partners within Nike (Communications, Finance & Legal) on a range of compensation areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, program feedback from the business, the annual compensation calendar, HR readiness, the HR Operating Model, and compensation tools.
+ Provide in-depth knowledge and experience advising on Compensation-related topics and applying new points of view and approaches to drive a premium employee experience and seek sophisticated challenges.
+ Partner closely with business-facing HRBPs, senior business leaders, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and People Solutions.
