Lead Clinician Psychiatry (13077) - InGenesis

InGenesis is currently seeking a Lead Clinician – Psychiatry to work with our client. In this role, you will provide on-site services related to supporting the unique needs of the Unaccompanied Children (UC) population. Support UC behavioral health including referral and access to counseling and other supportive services, as well as all activities relating to the unification of UC with an Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) vetted sponsor.

Job Responsibilities:

● Coordinates the delivery of evidence based behavioral health services and case management to all UC in temporary HHS custody.

● Maintains clinician staffing levels as defined by the contract.

● Responsible for providing orientation and training to new clinicians on program policies and procedures, cultural competence training and child welfare best practices.

● Responsible for team building, coaching, staff appraisals, and performance measures.

● Adheres to contractual timelines and requirements related to family reunification.

● Provides oversight of clinicians to ensure quality control over work, ensuring initial assessment, individual care plans, psychoeducation and counseling sessions for the UC are completed and documented timely and accurately.

● Reviews and monitors individual diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

● Oversees coordination with outpatient and inpatient community providers for additional behavioral services.

● Ensures clinician staff have required background checks prior to providing access to UC documentation and maintain current licensure.

● Updates and maintains UC records in accordance with contract and procedures.

● Adheres to program reporting guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

● Doctor of Medicin (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.

● 5+ years of experienced practicing medicine as a Board Certified Psychiatrist.

● Bilingual (Spanish/ English) required.

Certifications/Licenses:

● Current unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license required.

● Board Certified in Psychiatry

● CPR

Other Requirements:

● Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.

● Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.

● Pass all pertinent required background checks and child abuse and neglect checks.

● Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
