We are looking for a dedicated Lead Cashier to join our team and help ensure that our customers have the best experience from the moment they step through the door.
Job Summary:
The Lead Cashier is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations, including managing cash transactions, supervising cashier staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be a key part of creating a warm and friendly environment. You will also assist with order taking, cashier duties, and maintaining a smooth workflow during busy shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers with a friendly, positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service.
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system (cash, credit, gift cards, etc.).
• Supervise and train cashier staff to ensure smooth and efficient front-end operations.
• Monitor cash drawer, balance transactions, and handle cash drops at the end of shifts.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and cashier stations.
• Assist with taking orders for both dine-in and take-out, answering customer inquiries, and providing menu recommendations.
• Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating when necessary.
• Support management in overseeing daily operations and assisting with inventory tracking and supply ordering as needed.
• Lead by example by maintaining a positive and productive attitude, especially during peak hours.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and manage cashier staff.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and positive demeanor.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation:
$18-20/hr + tips
