Lead Case Packer - Sauder's Eggs

750.00 SIGN ON BONUS plus 

75.00 WEEKLY ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE

Sauder’s Eggs is looking for a Lead Case Packer for the 1st shift at our Ephrata Location.
Responsible for helping maintain the organization and training of the case packing line, as well as helping with case and label setup. This position has opportunities for overtime, personal development and future roles of increasing responsibility. 

Work Schedule;

Days - Monday to Friday

Hours - 6:00am to 4:30 pm or when work has been completed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Pre-shift line set-up, with assistance from the Production Coordinator.
2. Verify all materials are ready for the start of production.
3. Assist the Production Coordinator in programming label machines with the correct labels.
4. Ensure crack flats and leakier barrels are accessible on the line to Case Packers.
5. Assist in staging boxes for startup.
6. Maintain the cleanliness of the packing line. Collaborate with Case Packers and the Production Coordinator to ensure a clean and safe work environment and assist with any small-scale rework tasks that can be completed on the line. 
7. Assist the Production Coordinator with accurate box counts.
8. Be available to help Case Packers and Production Coordinator as needed.
9. Assist moving finished skids and bossies to the pallet area as needed.
10. Pack on the line when personnel are not available.
11. Cover for the Production Coordinator during breaks and/or as needed.
12. Perform all duties with safe work habits and GMP’s.
13. Any other duties assigned by the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to multitask.
2. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
3. Must have good communication skills.
4. Must have basic math and computer skills.
5. Must be willing to use & be trained for Pallet Jack Certification.

Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to move quickly and safely between packer units.
2. Must be able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
3. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel and twist.
4. Must wear steel/carbon toe shoes/boots. 

Work Environment:

1. Production line setting, cement floors, loud machinery.
