As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Lead Business Analyst specializing in Master Data Management to join our dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Digital Product Owner of MDM, the Lead Business Analyst - Master Data Management will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of critical data assets within our digital ecosystem. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify data management needs, and drive the development of robust data solutions that support our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:- Master Data Governance: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of master data governance frameworks and processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to master data management, including data definitions, attributes, relationships, and business rules.
- Data Quality Management: Conduct gap analysis and identify discrepancies between the current and desired target states. Collaborate with data stewards and SMEs to define and document data quality standards, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve data anomalies, discrepancies, and integrity issues.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data integration processes, ensuring seamless data flow between disparate systems and applications while maintaining data accuracy and consistency.
- Reporting and Analytics: Partner with business users to define reporting requirements and KPIs, leveraging master data to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management: Support change management activities related to master data initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication to ensure successful adoption and utilization of new data management practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize master data management processes, tools, and technologies, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Testing & Validation: Support data validation, create user acceptance testing strategies and test cases and participate in the testing cycles to certify data for use by business applications.
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of business analyst experience
OR
- Master’s degree
- At least 3 years of business analyst experience
OR
- At least 7 years of business analyst experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - Experience in business analysis, with a focus on data management or data analytics within complex digital environments.
- Strong understanding of master data concepts, including data governance, data quality, data modeling, and data integration.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering master data management initiatives on time and within budget.
- Certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP) and business analysis (e.g., CBAP) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with PLSQL, Python/Pandas for data profiling and analysis
- Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Openness to working in agile environments with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
