SALARY: $68,000 - $93,000/year

Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
-
Modify, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
-
Ensure timely completion of tasks in compliance with federal regulations, customer guidelines, and company policies.
-
Review and maintain required customer and FAA paperwork for maintenance updates and regulatory compliance.
-
Supervise and co-sign for uncertified mechanics following established procedures.

Lead and perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alterations on aircraft, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) through mentoring and work assignments.
-
Perform maintenance tasks and contribute actively to the team.
-
Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of aircraft systems and assigned work areas.

Utilize Avionics hand tools proficiently for repairs and installations.
-
Prepare routine reports and correspondence.
-
Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices.
-
Diagnose, repair, and test aircraft components as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
-
Minimum 5 years’ avionics experience.
-
Proficiency with Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
-
Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.

B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification a plus.
-
Fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal communication).
-
Mathematical proficiency for problem-solving.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexible to work overtime and travel as required.

Physical Requirements:

Compliance with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

Ability to climb, work on ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (up to 75 pounds with assistance).

Reach overhead, work in non-dust-free environments, and perform tasks requiring precise vision and full hand motion.
