About the Role:

As a Lead Audio Visual Technician, you will take the lead in executing and overseeing the installation, programming, and maintenance of sophisticated AV systems. You'll work on high-profile commercial and institutional projects, guiding a team of technicians and ensuring seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of AV technicians in the installation, programming, and commissioning of AV systems, including Crestron control systems, Extron interfaces, Daylight Screens, Optoma Projectors, and more.
• Program and configure AV systems to meet client specifications, ensuring optimal performance and user-friendly operation.
• Perform and oversee the layout, installation, termination, and testing of AV systems, including audio, video, and control components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both during and after installation.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, focusing on programming and advanced system integration.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including programming scripts, as-built drawings, and system manuals.

Background Profile:

• 4+ years of experience in the commercial AV industry with a focus on programming and system integration.
• Proven expertise in programming and configuring systems from Crestron, Extron, Daylight Screens, Optoma Projectors, and other leading AV manufacturers.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and AV system designs.
• AVIXA CTS certification is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
