Lead Advanced Field Install Specialist - Cybersecurity, HVAC, Fire Alarm/Safety, Building Automation - Honeywell

The main function of this position is to provide configure, deploy and upgrade workstations/servers to Honeywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technical delivery turn key solutions. These customers will have various products installed that fall into the – HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.


The salary for this position is $83,800 - $115,000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



+ Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex building automation, fire alarm, access control security and video analytics systems proprietary to Honeywell.


+ Perform Windows Server system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches


+ Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based on the needs of the customer


+ Programming includes SQL databases, EBI’s and Graphics Front End Command and Control software.


+ Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of the customers (may need to possess certifications)


+ Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations


+ Proper use of safety personal protection equipment


+ Security and other clearances as required by customer


+ This is a travelling field service engineer position based in the Sacramento area



Basic Qualifications



+ 5 years of experience


+ Certifications required for system specific work


+ Ability to work independently 75% of the time


+ High School Diploma or equivalent


+ Ability to travel throughout the service area, with occasional overnight stays


+ Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell



Preferred Qualifications



+ 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems Programming & Commissioning.


+ Technical Training & Certifications in Tridium Niagara N4, Alerton or Phoenix Controls


+ NICET Level II Certification


+ CCNA, Security+, CISSP, Microsoft


+ Honeywell Notifier Fire Alarm Certified


+ ProWatch Security Certified (Mercury, S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Gentec Certifications accepted)


+ MaxPro NVR Certified
