Opening Doors began in 1993 as a small refugee resettlement agency, and today serves approximately 3,000 clients per year across our 5 program areas: Refugee Programs, Survivors of Human Trafficking Programs, Immigration Legal Services, Health Programs and Economic Prosperity Programs.

Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
Provide support for meetings and special events, including bi-monthly board meetings and annual board retreat. Make travel arrangements as needed.
With the guidance of the CEO, maintainup-to-date corporate records and clear communications with the Board of Directors, including comprehensive board files.
Accurately draft minutes from Board meetings and notes from other key meetings.
Provide scheduling support for the CEO, and other Leadership Team members as needed.
Support the CEO in preparing for meetings, including creating meeting agendas, developing presentations and talking points, taking detailed meeting notes, tracking meeting minutes, and coordinating follow-up on meeting action items.
Completes and submits for review credit card expense reports, invoice requests, and other accounting-related documents for the CEO.
Provide occasional front desk coverage, professionally greeting visitors, signing in ofall guests and directing guests to the appropriate staff.

Strong administrative, planning, and organizational skills including the ability to strategically handle competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and autonomously problem-solve.
High levels of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications: The requirements listed below are not required but are desired.
Demonstrated experience in a similar executive assistant role.
Effective communication skills in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, Farsi/Dari, Hmong, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, Ukrainian or Vietnamese.

While performing this job, the employee is required to sit often and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, lift approximately 25 pounds on occasion, and to stoop, kneel, or squat, and drive on occasion. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
