Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a full-time Lead Clinician position with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.

This program operates within two San Mateo County jails and exclusively serves adult inmates who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness.

The objective of this program is to accelerate access to mental health services and resources for people in need of competency restoration – while improving patient wellness, reducing waiting times, and adverting unnecessary hospitalization. 

In this role, you enjoy a mix of clinical and managerial responsibilities, including:

• Conducting mental health assessments and providing mental health treatment to clients

• Leading a program that is rooted in best practices in the forensic mental health field

• Ensuring clients receive person-centered care and outstanding mental health services

• Liaising with jail security, law enforcement, legal, and mental health authorities

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role you can expect:

• Starting salary between $110,000 and $140,000 (depending on experience)

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in California as a LCSW or LMFT.  Leadership / management experience is helpful.
