Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Orange, CA
Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, M-F plus daily OT and 1 Saturday per month
Pay: $32.00-$34.00 p/h, DOE
Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with first article, in-process, final, and layout inspections in compliance with AS9102 standards. This role requires proficiency in utilizing a range of precision measuring instruments to ensure that our components meet stringent quality and engineering specifications.

This role requires proficiency in utilizing a range of precision measuring instruments to ensure that our components meet stringent quality and engineering specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct First Article, In-process, Final, and layout/AS9102 inspections to maintain quality standards for aluminum forgings and machined components.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other equipment for precision measurements. (Programming experience is not required; only operational experience is needed.)
- Utilize precision measuring devices including calipers, gauges, micrometers, and height gages, as well as other inspection tools to confirm product specifications.
- Document and report inspection results to maintain detailed records for quality assurance and compliance.
- Must have experience in quality inspection for manufacturing, with a strong focus on dimensional inspection and AS9102 reporting.
- Hands-on experience operating surface plates, CMMs, etc.
- Proficiency with various precision measuring devices and instruments (calipers, bore gages, micrometers, height gages, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and documenting findings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
