Description

Hands-on Experience on Lawson HR System as Primary skill set

The AA is able to design the architecture of highly complex systems and critique high level and detail system designs. An AA possesses very strong analytical skills and has the ability to develop, troubleshoot and debug software applications problems, conduct performance analysis, and suggest potential solutions for highly complex programs and systems. The Analyst is able to interpret related business processes and documentation and translate them into application designs and development specifications. This individual provides leadership to and mentors junior personnel on the understanding of program objectives and has the ability to prepare detailed development specifications from which software programs will be written.

Perform other job related functions as assigned.
Technical skills include previous experience supporting Lawson modules for Payroll, HR and Benefits modules including experience in Global HR, Employee and Manager Self Service, Process Automation, Process Flows, Lawson Security and Portal/Ming. Experience in BSI, Ceridian, ADP, Cornerstone, or similarly HR Systems is a must. Additionally, Microsoft experience in VB.NET/C#.NET, Windows Forms/ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Web Services under the OOP paradigm.Primary development tools include Visual Studio, T-SQL, PL/SQL, MSMQ, XML, IIS, and ADO/ADO.NET. Secondary development tools include VB6, MS Access/VBA, HTML, ASP, webMethods integration or similar, UNIX/Samba, Hyperion Brio, and JAVA. The candidate should be familiar MS Project, Visio, ServiceNOW, TFS, Rational ClearCase, and Rational ClearQuest or similar tools.

Responsibilities:

The candidate has to support the client's financial system.
Need to work on development/maintenance and support of Lawson application.
Requirement gathering, understanding and analyzing business requirements.
Preparing high level and low level design.
Coding and unit testing
System/UAT testing and co-ordination for deployment in system/UAT/production environment
Analyzing and fixing production support defects.
The candidate has to work/coordinate with offshore team for support/development activities.
complex client server and web applications in an n-tier Microsoft Windows environment
