We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Team Assistant to join the Collections and Foreclosure team. The ideal candidate will excel in a professional and team-oriented environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Team Assistant’s role is to assist in facilitating the successful processing of all collection and foreclosure matters for the firm’s Collections and Foreclosure Department.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare demand letters and notice of intent to foreclose letters and liens.
- Prepare and generate foreclosure retainer letter.
- Request title for Association complaint.
- Coordinate with process server to serve complaints.
- Prepare the affidavit of attorney's fees.
- Set necessary hearings and coordinate with opposing counsel.
- Preparation of various clients correspondence.
Additional Miscellaneous Duties:
- Handle all mailings and copy requests.
- Close matters.
- E-file pleadings in various Counties throughout the State of Florida.
- E-recording of documents in various Countries throughout the State of Florida.
- Process check requests and check deposits.
- Answer phones and provide coverage for other team assistants as needed.
- Any and all other duties as may be required of the position.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to organize files and workflow.
- Expert level of Microsoft Office and experience working with PDF’s.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Collection and Foreclosure software programs a plus.
- Familiarity with iManage, File Site, and Aderant, preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 Annual
Bonus/Commission: No
