We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our boutique law firm in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and planning, with the ability to work directly with clients.

Job Details

Prepare and review simple and complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates
Conduct mid-year tax projections with clients to strategize tax reduction for the remainder of the year
Meet with clients in person to discuss tax matters and provide guidance
Handle Lacerte (Legal Entity Certificate) filings and related processes
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive financial services for clients

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in a CPA firm or law firm setting
CPA license preferred but not required if candidate demonstrates strong tax expertise
Experience with Lacerte filing software (required)
Strong knowledge of individual, business, trust, and estate taxation
Excellent communication skills for client interactions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Note: Bookkeeping skills are not required for this position, as we have dedicated bookkeepers on staff
