Compensation, Benefits, and Schedule:
- Competitive base salary of $60,000-$80,000 based on experience plus performance-based compensation for total On Target Earnings of $100k annually-a rockstar in this role can achieve $110k+.
- Comprehensive benefits package includes 12 paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance, retirement plan contributions, vision insurance, dental insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance.
- This is a full-time hybrid position with your in-office schedule being based on client demand for in-person meetings, and department coverage needs. The typical schedule for this role is 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for client workshop presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial client consultations to sell legal services
- Present group seminars to individuals interested in estate planning and asset protection services
- Oversee the transition of new cases to the legal team to set the client and team up for success
- Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us
- Check in calls to past clients to nurture life-long relationships
- Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources
In accordance with the ethical rules governing lawyers, this team member will NOT provide legal advice, quote a fee that has not been authorized by the attorney, or sign an engagement agreement with a client. Rather, the employee will prepare prospective clients for entering into an engagement with our office and the contract will be signed by an Attorney.
Qualifications:
- Understand that sales conversations are about educating and serving the needs of prospective new clients, helping them understand their options, and make courageous decisions to empower their future, NOT about showing off or a high-pressure game
- Understand how to genuinely build an ongoing relationship with a client
- Practice highly skilled active and dynamic listening
- Show the ability to interact with different types of personalities
- Authentically show empathy, compassion, and understanding to potential new clients and put them at ease during a difficult time
- Know how to close a sale by revealing the real urgency and value
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
- Think on your toes and not get discouraged when things don't go as planned
- Be willing, able, and excited to quickly learn about new topics
- Treat a call or meeting at 4:30 pm on a Friday with the same care and compassion as one on a Monday morning
- Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude who consistently acts with positivity, respect, and integrity
- Be tech savvy (we use specialized cloud-based software)
- Demonstrate fire and ambition
