Law firm bookkeeper - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

About the Job
This position reports to the Partners and Office Administrator.
· Must have a least 3+ years bookkeeping experience
· Experience with law firm billing or other professional service firm (Juris or appropriate software that the firm is
using) and Quickbooks as well as Microsoft Office Products preferred.
· Must possess strong administrative and organizational skills.
· Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Duties:
· Perform all bookkeeping functions
· Performs client billing functions and other accounts receivable functions
· Pay vendor bills and manage accounts payable
· Perform all data entry of cash receipts and client costs in billing and accounting systems
· Perform all data entry of cash receipts and disbursements
· Process credit card transactions
· Reconcile bank statements
· Work up and make bank deposits
· Handle Payroll with Office Administrator
· Provide all required financial reports to shareholders on a monthly basis.
· Any necessary filing.
· Coordination with the firm accountants
Pay DOE 65K to 70K
