- JOB SUMMARY
- The EVS Technician for Laundry works within the laundry area and within units to assure adequate supplies of clean linen is provided to meet patients and other hospital needs. This position includes duties of sorting soiled linens, washing, drying, and storing clean linens. This position also includes delivery of clean linens to patient care areas and collection of soiled linens from patient care areas. This position is critical to assure the look of cleanliness to patients and how they perceived their stay.
- JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Ability to read and write English proficiently. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Job Knowledge and Skills:- Must be able to work perform duties independently and with minimal supervision. Must have effective written and communication skills. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Must be aware of cleanliness standards and use of products to assure safety. Must knowledgeable about work flow to assure adequate supplies of product.
