Join our team! The room attendant will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms on a level that meets or exceeds company standards. At the Pink Shell Resort and Marina we make our guests feel like family by providing a fun and memorable beach escape with unmatched attention to detail. We are looking for 1 AM attendant and 1 PM attendant.
Shifts: 8:30am-5:00pm    or  3:00pm-11:00pm

• TRANSPORTATION! Shuttle will travel to close surrounding areas to pick up housekeepers without transportation. Will need transportation to get to pickup points.

What are we looking for?

• An individual with a strong work ethic and who can focus on continuous improvement
• 1-2 years’ experience in laundry, dry-cleaning, or housekeeping preferred
• Has basic knowledge of general laundry cleaning principles, use of laundry products, and operation of standard laundry equipment
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift bundles of linen weighing up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to speak Basic English to communicate with guests and associates
• Has flexibility and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and Holidays

What would my job responsibilities be?

• Sort, pre-treat, wash, dry, press, and fold linens according to guidelines
• Ensure washers and dryers operate properly, and inform management or maintenance of any malfunctions or problems.
• Check and replace chemicals when needed
• Stock linens for distributions
• Log all proper information on log sheets
• Maintain linen carts and supplies in a neat and organized manner.
• Ensure the laundry area is kept clean and is well maintained
• Weigh all bins of linen before leaving the laundry area
• Perform any other duties as assigned
