Here is what working as a Landscape Construction Field Operations Manager at Riverside Services will entail:
- Feeling a sense of pride in completing high-quality projects on budget
- Demonstrating adaptability by managing 3-5 projects simultaneously
- Using your expert knowledge to train, advise, and supervise field crew members
- Ensuring team members are safe by implementing safe field practices using PPE
- Taking pride in maintaining work spaces and always being organized
- Leading by example in a professional manner and meeting production standards
- Effectively communicating and coordinating with other team members about job progress
- Feeling a sense of achievement ensuring timely and accurate job completions
- Ensuring change orders are processed properly and vendor delivery tickets and paperwork are turned in daily
- Demonstrating your expertise by assisting in the development and implementation of training about production, safety practices, and procedures
- Evaluating the performance of crew leaders and members
We ask that you have these qualifications:
- Five years of experience in landscape, hardscape, or irrigation construction
- A strong background in safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and install all plans
- Ability to operate a transit for field layout
- Have an OSHA 30 Certificate, or can get one within 30 days
- MCLP or Certified Landscape Professional, or can obtain the designation
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in project management or green industry or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
- No criminal record
- Valid MA hydraulics license
- Valid driver’s license & are insurable
Position starts at $70,000 or commiserating with experience
