Landscape Architect and Project Manager - Design Workshop

Our Tahoe team seeks a licensed Landscape Architect with project management experience ready to be an integral part of the studio located in the Lake Tahoe area. • Serve in a firm-wide leadership capacity pursuing and implementating legacy work through exceptional design, project documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management.
• Provide landscape architecture, planning and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients.
• Perform project manager or lead designer/planner role on projects of various scales. 
• Support other project managers or designer/planners on large, complex projects.

Requirements include three (3) years or more of demonstrated skill in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation experience; project management and business development; success managing projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents; proven experience producing drawings and specifications from the schematic stage through construction observation. You must be self-motivated with the desire and ability to lead others in the design and construction documentation/construction observation process; as well as passionate about engaging and retaining clients.  You will need to embrace the opportunity and privilege to mentor less-experienced staff and build a strong studio-based culture. An undergraduate and/or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program is required. Landscape Architecture Licensure is required. Candidates with a master’s degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design, architecture or planning are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 and a final offer to join the firm is based on our review and understanding of your demonstrated professional skills and experience. We are 100% employee owned; employees become participant owners in an ESOP Trust. This is designed as a long-term wealth-building benefit, with the employees’ accounts increasing as the value of the business increases. Accounts are funded entirely by company contributions.
