Land Use & Zoning Attorney - Associate from Elgen Staffing

Our client, a prominent law firm without offices throughout the New York Metro area, has an immediate need for an experienced Land Use & Zoning Associate Attorney, to join their winning team in Newark.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 4-6 years of land use and zoning experience.
• Experience presenting applications before municipal and county planning boards and zoning boards.
• Significant command of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.
• Strong research skills and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Redevelopment Law process in New Jersey, including experience negotiating and drafting redevelopment agreements and financial agreements, is a plus.

• Possess a JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients.
