Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field work on general surveying projects, including topographic, ALTA boundary, Right of Way and As-builts, Flood Elevation Certificates, Lot Surveys.
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe and certify work performed.
- Update and modify existing topographical records, maps, and previous survey results.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals on projects.
- Use a variety of modern surveying equipment, manual recording, computer software and databases to collect and record data.
- Ensure all work is conducted in a precise, legal, and ethical manner.
- Direct and supervise work of the survey team including technicians and other survey personnel.
- Communicate with clients and other professionals to understand project goals and to present survey findings.
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is required in the state of work.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that is approved by our insurance provider.
