Land Development Project Engineer - Dewberry

Dewberry is currently seeking a Land Development Project Engineer for the Louisville, CO office with the opportunity to work occasionally out of the Denver office as necessary.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs to regular full-time employees and their eligible dependents the first of the month following their date of hire. This position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and land development including project engineering to support the production of: design of grading, storm water management, drainage design and reports, soil erosion & sediment control plans and reports, public and private roadways horizontal and vertical designs, “wet” utility design and coordination with design team professionals successfully delivering; residential, commercial, retail, institutional and recreational facilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required
• PE license preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• 5+ years of land development engineering experience
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff
• AutoCAD with Civil3D skills
• Technical competency in roadway, utilities and drainage design and construction
• Strong techincial writing and interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to work in a team environment

The projected range for this position is $91,000-$122,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
