What You’ll Do:
- As the Land Applications Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee daily operations of land application activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Operate, maintain, and repair farm equipment (tractors, plows, tillers, etc.) for effective wastewater application.
- Perform field tasks such as tilling, seeding, and subsurface injection for optimal application results.
- Supervise and train a team of operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Manage customer relations, collaborate with landowners, and develop sustainable schedules.
- Analyze data, track application rates, and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met and maintained.
What Makes You Great:
- 5 years of experience in environmental waste management, land application, or a related field.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and waste disposal practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling/reporting software.
- Experience operating and maintaining farm equipment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to operational sites.
Preferred Skills:
- Site operations analysis and planning.
- Familiarity with planting schedules and food plots.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience managing teams and documenting operational practices.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing. Evening and weekend availability may be required to meet project deadlines.
