The Laminator Operator reports directly to the department manager. What you will be doing: Mix adhesive according to formulas. Check first piece conformance to specifications. Set up and operate Lathe Machine according Lathe Machine Operating Procedures when needed. Job order interpretation Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area to SQF standard. Utilize satellite containers for Hazardous Waste. “Hazard Waste Generator” – generates hazardous waste as part of production process. Report quality issues to manager, supervisor, group leader for analysis and/or remedy. Report ALL accidents to the shift manager immediately. Report ALL unsafe acts and conditions to the shift manager immediately. Regular, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to the job. Verification of correct calculation of needed amount of adhesive for job Verification of what impression rollers are needed for four hours and cut/or resurface to specifications. Report all Food Safety violations to management. Adding adhesive, changing raw material rolls and other substrates. Operate machine for break coverage. Other duties as assigned.
