Summary
We are seeking a Labview Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks.
Job Duties
- Under general supervision, assists in designing, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting automated inspection, measurement, and test systems for optical electronics
- Compose SOP and provide training session for technician and operator on operating the Labview excitable UI
- Modify labview programs which composed by engineer from other branches to fit the operations equipment and environments
- Work with Manufacture Engineer to solve production line issues
- 10% international travel is expected for this position
- Other duties as needed or required
Job Requirements
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- Preferred:
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 1 – 3 year of experience in LabVIEW Programming
- Understanding of the operation of data acquisition fundamentals (i.e., plug-in data acquisition cards, RS 232, GPIB, PXI devices and signal conditioning of various sensors)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to manage multiple/concurrent projects
- Works independently and responsibly without close supervision. Must be able to take full responsibility
- Lift or move items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Preferred Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin.
Location
This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
