Job Summary

We are looking for a hard-working and committed Ink Laboratory Technician to join our client's team.Ideally looking for someone who worked with the ink industry or color, and had color theory training. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate color matches, proofs, and overall support for both local and national projects. You will apply color theory and digital color principles while working with various lab equipment, including SAP, Outlook, Excel, and specialized color software and hardware to fulfill customer requirements.

Job Description

• Provide precise color matches and proofs to meet specification tolerances using various proofing equipment across multiple applications and color software/hardware.
• Accurately record and report all project activities daily through designated software platforms, ensuring that data is up to date and accurate.
• Maintain lab equipment, ensuring it is operating efficiently and safely. This includes helping with the calibration of all lab equipment according to scheduled frequencies.
• Keep the lab environment clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards. Ensure all procedures and safety protocols are followed.
• Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and quality policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills Required

• Associate degree and/or technical trade school preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials used in the plant.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Keen eye for detail, particularly in quality control and documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in the ink industry.
• Previous color matching experience across multiple ink systems.
