POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general guidance of the principal investigator, the Technical Assistant will be responsible for carrying out specific research experiments relevant to understanding cellular processes underlying glaucoma. Additional responsibilities include genotyping, performing laboratory administrative tasks, and carryout special assignments as requested. They will also keep accurate records of research activities.

**REQUIREMENTS:**
Well-qualified candidates will have the following qualifications/ experience: Prior experience in cell biology and genetics (ocular cell experience is preferred). Experience with and knowledge of statistical analysis, image analysis, and mouse-tracking software is helpful.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
Associate's degree in appropriate discipline plus 1-year specialized experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $15.38 - $21.54 Hourly

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
