Laboratory Technician II, Ophthalmology - University of Rochester

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general guidance of the principal investigator, the Technical Assistant will be responsible for carrying out specific research experiments relevant to understanding cellular processes underlying glaucoma. Additional responsibilities include genotyping, performing laboratory administrative tasks, and carryout special assignments as requested. They will also keep accurate records of research activities. Other duties as assigned **REQUIREMENTS:** Well-qualified candidates will have the following qualifications/ experience: Prior experience in cell biology and genetics (ocular cell experience is preferred).
