About the Job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
+ Student will work at the immediate direction of research scientists and technologists.
+ Prerequisites for the position include at least two years undergraduate course work in a biomedical science field and prior experience in a research laboratory setting.
+ The candidate must be able to perform tasks typical of a laboratory environment, including independently conducting experiments.
+ The conduct of experiments includes all aspects of record keeping, solution preparation, data analysis and presentation.
**RESPONSIBILITES:**
+ Histology (slide preparation)
+ Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry
+ Slide scanning and data management
+ Data analysis and presentation
+ Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ 2 years undergraduate course work in biomedical sciences required
+ Prior experience in a research lab setting or equivalent combination of education and experience required
+ Freshman level chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology required
