Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, tobacco, and toxicology testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.
Our Orange, CA facility is currently seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Technician to join our Microbiology Department.
Pay: $18.50
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Our Orange, CA facility is currently seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Technician to join our Microbiology Department.
Pay: $18.50
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
- Daily monitoring of sample scheduling and ensure that samples are analyzed within EPA's holding time and clients' due dates
- Routine sample preparation and analysis according to Standard Methods (9223, 9221, 9215, 9230, etc...), and CDC methods
- Prepares media and reagents
- Performs initial review of data
- Reviews of QA/QC criteria for batch acceptance
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and follow safe work practices
- Run daily, monthly, quarterly and annual QC checks on micro equipment, media, supplies and materials
- Perform data entry
- Perform inventory, thermometers calibration,
- Cross trains on inter-department and intra-department levels
- Participates in lab's meetings and focus teams
- Work effectively with other departments

Preferred Skills
- Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- 1 year of lab experience (academic or professional) preferred
- Familiar with microbiological methods and techniques
- Able to accommodate flexible schedule including overtime, after-hours and weekend
- Able to work independently and make sound decision
- Excellent organization skills and strong communication skills
